In the 10Cs, container means more than carrying water. It’s anything that can carry gear, water or food. But in this section these Cs let you cook, purify, transport, and manage water in the field.
Go one day without water and your body starts to cramp and shut down.
Go two days or more and the situation becomes dangerous fast.
Vargo BOTs are our standard because they combine cooking and water storage into a single system. The screw-on lid turns a 700ml+ cook pot into a sealed water-carrying container, removing the usual tradeoff between boiling and transport.
That’s why all FoxtrotGear systems are designed around them.
